Horizon Microtechnologies allows customers access to the benefits of additive manufacturing at the micro-scale while circumventing several limitations of commonly used micro-3D printing materials and processes. Horizon’s innovative approach combines the precision, design freedom and ease of fabrication of photopolymer based micro-AM (and other 3D structuring technologies as required) with coatings that enhance functionality. Most notably, parts featuring surfaces with tailored conductivity and resilience against external influences such as chemicals, abrasion or elevated temperatures can be made. The achievable sheet resistances range from hundreds of Ω/ down to single mΩ/ and hence cover the metallic as well as the resistive regime. As such, Horizon Microtechnologies uses micro-AM as an enabling technology that stimulates innovation and pushes the boundaries of what is possible in micro-scale part production.
